Continuing the tradition of high-performance wireless systems, Nux has developed the B-8, a compact battery-powered transmitter that automatically pairs with the pedal-format receiver, perfectly designed for integration with your pedalboard. Operating in the 2.4 GHz wifi band, it delivers high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz audio transmission, with a transmission latency of 2.5 ms (instantaneous) to 8.7 ms (signal stability), for optimum performance and playing feel. Its operating range extends up to 60 m, depending on the quality of the playing environment, offering maximum freedom of movement.

Versatility and simplicity for all instruments

The Nux B-8 wireless system is suitable for a wide range of instruments, including electric and electro-acoustic guitars, bass guitars and electro ukuleles. Easy to use, synchronization between transmitter and receiver takes just a few seconds, and the transmitter's battery life lasts for up to 6.5 hours! The transmitter can recharge its battery by clipping it onto the receiver's color LCD screen, or via the USB-C cable supplied. Also, with the receiver's USB port, you can easily update the firmware, as well as customize the start-up screen image.

Modern, advanced features

In addition to a professional, robust wireless system, the B-8 is packed with modern, clever features to delight all types of musicians. The activatable "Cable Tone" function simulates the frequency spectrum of the resistance of a jack cable, for a "rounder, warmer" sound that guitarists sometimes wish to find in their sound, despite the use of a wireless system. There's also a built-in tuner with different tuning and display modes, triggered via the receiver's footswitch. This footswitch can also trigger a +12 dB boost, to reinforce your signal or boost your solos ! An ingenious effects loop lets you insert your other effects pedals into your signal chain and send the signal back cleanly to your amp. Finally, the balanced XLR D.I. output is ideal for direct connection to a mixer or audio interface, to meet the most demanding studio or stage configurations.
